The blog has been neglected lately so here’s a quick post during this grey, rainy September Saturday here in Vancouver.
Throwing it back this week to a time before liability insurance, proper safety procedures, and 20+ megapixel cameras.
My most recent shoot took us to the perimeter of the Boundry Bay Airport and surrounding farm roads of Delta to photograph Steve Kwok’s Honda S2000 for Box One.
Exactly one week ago this evening at 7:30 pm I climbed into Jonny’s GTI to head off to meet up with 6 other guys with 3 more cars to begin a weekend adventure coined “California Cannonball”.
Eight guys, four cars, and nearly endless highway.
Keeping the rolling shot theme on the blog going for this week, Throwback Thursday is from a shoot I did for Land Rover of Richmond of one of their LR4s.
This week’s Before & After is a rolling shot from my recent shoot with RPI Equipped’s Volkswagen MK7 GTI in Vancouver, Canada.
That’s right, it’s another shoot with RPI Equipped’s Volkswagen MK7 GTI. I’ve known Jonny for roughly 5 years now, and one thing that became obvious right off the bat was Jonny rarely keeps a car for very long and the look of his cars are in a constant flux of change. His current Volkswagen MK7 GTI doesn’t break that trend one bit.
This past weekend we headed out to the Fraser Valley near Harrison Lake to photograph and film Reid’s Subaru Legacy getting dirty on some muddy and snowy Forest Service Roads.
Last week we headed out to do more testing with Jonny’s new DJI Ronin-M camera gimbal, our subject car for the morning was our good friend Bojan’s Volkswagen MK7 Golf R.
Here’s another one of my before and afters to show the post processing that goes into some of my images. This shot was taken over a year ago of Travis’ static Audi B6 A4 Avant rolling through the North Shore Mountains of Vancouver, Canada.
