If you are a regular follower of my blog, you might recognize the name, Mitch Fleischer. A couple of years ago I photographed his R32 Skyline (HERE) on a few occasions before it’s sudden death in a ditch on the North Shore. A couple years later Mitch is back and with another RHD, which he imported directly from Japan. As much as I was a huge fan of his Skyline, his new JZX100 is on whole other level.
Mitch’s car was fresh out of the paint booth, and I wanted to photograph it before the effects of driving such a low car daily through the Lower Mainland started to show – our original shoot date was postponed due to a cracked front lip just days out of paint. I reached out to Jonny Sundell to come out and give a hand driving the camera car for the rolling shots. Luckily, he was as excited as I was to shoot the JZX100, so we decided to make it a Box One Collective collaboration, and he created a video from the evening shoot. I’ll embed the video following the images.
