I thought before I load the kids into the car and hit the road to visit family for the holidays, I’d squeeze in one last post for the year. A bit of a reflection back on the images I created, companies I was fortunate to work with, and the vehicles which found their way in front of my lens during 2016.
It’s been a month, if not longer since I sat down to create a blog post. And if you follow me on social media you may have noticed it’s been about the same timeframe since I’ve posted any content over there as well.
The initial plan was to take two weeks to unplug and spend quality time with my wife and kids while on vacation. The two weeks quickly turned into four.
It just happened, but I suppose I was ready for a break from everything internet related. Don’t get me wrong, I love it all, the instant access we have to anything and everything. But I think it’s healthy to step away from time to time to recharge and have a good look at the world right in front of us, not the one on the other side of a screen. And that’s what I did, and I have to say, I feel completely refreshed.
The past couple months I was hired to shoot the cover and an inside full page ad for Iconic Concierge Vancouver Magazine.
I don’t think I’ve ever related to the saying “Time Flies When You’re Having Fun” as much as I have this past year. With less than 3 weeks left in 2015 it’s easy to say while the time has gone by extremely fast, I’ve been having a tone of fun.
Sunday Select for this week is a side profile rolling shot of RPI Equipped‘s old Audi Q5.
Some recent tear sheets from a feature in the Dec/Jan issue of PASMAG (Performance Auto & Sound Magazine).
For this week’s Sunday Select, a rolling shot of RPI Equipped‘s (old) Audi A3.
Last month I posted some tear sheets from my recent feature with Audi Tuner Magazine, you can have a look HERE.
After what felt like a long wait, I finally was able to get my hands on a couple copies of the magazine – had them sent over form the UK. I haven’t had much luck finding the magazine here in Vancouver, but I have heard if you’re in the U.S.A. you can find it at Barnes & Noble.
In the end, the wait was worth it – great looking and quality magazine!
My most recent magazine feature with new client Audi Tuner Magazine (Issue 007) is now out and on newsstand shelves. Along with this being my first feature with the fairly new magazine, I was also excited to see one of my images on the cover, making this my first automotive cover.
The feature is of Warren Goodman’s RPI Equipped 2015 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI.
Brixton Forged Wheels feature in PASMAG (Performance Auto & Sound magazine)’s Style Book 2015.
